The company...

"ART OF TIME" was founded in 1996 as Lehenbauer & Schütz OEG and, just one year later in 1997, was incorporated into the newly formed ART OF TIME Uhrentechnik Ges.m.b.H.

The original aim of the company was to develop and produce high-quality, exclusive wristwatches from precious metals. As part of these development activities, an international patent was registered for the first DO-IT-YOURSELF wristwatch in the world, which was distributed internationally as the "WATCH-MAKER" horology set by watch specialists. It quickly became clear that this DIY watch was suited not only for exclusive areas of the market but it was also particularly ideal as a promotional watch — and so the "CLOCKBOX" was born.

As the customer structure of the jeweller had now changed into that of an industrial concern or promotional item specialist, other items became increasingly in demand for the promotional item market, and were developed and delivered by ART OF TIME.

In June 2006, the company name changed to "ART OF TIME Innovative Products GmbH" with the new focus on developing and distribution of new, innovative products like e.g. the first ice scraper with integrated cleaning device for the inside of a windshield "VISTA CarWindowCleaner", the first USB flash drive with a recording function "InstantVoiceMemo", or the first noiseless drink reminder "AH!QUA".
